So perhaps one of the biggest surprises of 2014, was the release of the movie “The Kingsman.” With unknown actor Taron Egerton leading the film, with veteran, British actor Colin Firth at his side, The Kingsman introduced the world to a secret organization that prevents terror attacks, not just on British soil but all over the world, but is based on the Knights of the Roundtable, with each member having a name of a knight, like Percival, Lancelot, Galahad, etc.
The first firm was directed by Matt Vaughn, who directed X-Men First Class and Kickass, and he brought with him a unique style of comedy, action, espionage and suspense. The film over all was very entertaining and if you haven’t see it, than you need to search “Kingsman Church Fight” on YouTube and if that doesn’t sell you on the movie, you might just want to give up on life, because you don’t appreciate a good movie.
Anyway, the sequel, also written and directed by Vaughn, is due out September 29 of this year and brings with it, an even better cast, in fact, it’s even better than the first, I’m not dissing the great Sam Jackson, but look at this new cast. Obviously, Egerton is back, as is fellow Kingsman Mark Strong, but now we have Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore. But somehow Colin Firth is back!?! If you’re wondering why I’m confused by that, then you need to see the first film, pronto.
Okay, okay, enough rambling, just watch the new, epic trailer.
