We are still 8 months from the release of Justice League and we still haven’t even gotten to the release of Wonder Woman, but that hasn’t stopped the hype train pulling Justice League. The superhero ensemble movie is due to hit theaters November 10, 2017 and we’ve already gotten a ton of posters, teasers and a trailer, but the folks at Warner Bros. want us to have even more, to whet our appetite.
As expected, the poster still shows no signs of the Man of Steel, leading some to believe that his resurrection will be kept out of marketing materials until the film hits theaters as to make it more impactful or that Superman will return, but in the role of a villain, controlled by Darkseid until the League, with the help of Lois, can bring him back to the good side, giving them the power to beat Steppenwolf and push back Darkseid’s invasion. Of course, that is all speculation, so anything could happen. Either way, the poster looks awesome and I’m very excited.
Fueled by the hero’s restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Justice League sees Bruce Wayne enlist the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Man of Steel), the screenplay is by Chris Terrio from a story by Snyder and Terrio. The producers are Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. The executive producers are Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curt Kanemoto, Chris Terrio and Ben Affleck.
Here’s the first full-length trailer, it’s awesome!
