Overcooked, one of the most popular, yet diamond in the rough games of last year has finally popped up on the Nintendo Switch. The frantic cooking game requires players to work together, to create different kinds of food, in order to save the world.
The new “Special Edition” of the game allows up to four players to play at once, via individual Joy-Con or Pro Controllers, also features expansion content that’s been previously released on other consoles and PC.
While the Switch is continuing to sell well, having surpassed 5 million consoles sold, it’s always nice to see Nintendo reel in some high quality and well-received indie games like Overcooked, which received the award for best Multiplayer game from many other online publications. Just a heads up, the game gets difficult fast and you really do (or should) play with other people. While it’s possible to play the game solo, it’s multiplayer that makes this game really shine.
Overcooked is available now on the Nintendo Switch via the eShop for $19.99.
